Samsung Galaxy Watch4 is one of the bests in the development and production of smartwatches. Of course, this leads to good sales of devices from Korean manufacturers, especially among AndroidOS smartphone users. This year Samsung made some significant changes and provided its new watch with impressive improvements (and not just one!). Samsung Galaxy Watch4 uses the Google Wear OS 3.0 operating system for the first time, which sets them apart from many competitors.
The fact is that until now, the Galaxy smartwatch had its Tizen operating system. But thanks to the successful cooperation between Google and Samsung, the new Galaxy Watch4 comes with Wear OS 3.0 and One UI Watch 3.0. Although, the clock chip remains the same – Samsung’s Exynos W920. However, all these changes have not affected the compatibility in the best way, so iPhone owners will have to hold off on purchasing Samsung Galaxy Watch4 as they are unfortunately not compatible with Apple iOS. How will this affect sales? I’m sure there’s no way, as Samsung’s smartwatches mainly use mobile device owners from Korean companies or Android smartphones.
For the first time, Samsung has decided to launch two versions of its smartwatch: Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic. About the latter, I already told you in my review. Today we will talk about Samsung Galaxy Watch4, which has a more sporty focus. So, could you sit down and let’s get started?
What Is Interesting About Samsung Galaxy Watch 4?
We first learned about it in August 2021 during a special presentation by the Korean company. This model is the successor of the Galaxy Watch Active2; however, in addition to sports functions, the Galaxy Watch4 pays more attention to health. Thanks to some updated sensors, even the same pulse readings have become more accurate, there are no big jumps when measuring skin temperature, an impedance calculation now accompanies the electrocardiogram, etc.
In addition, eight different modifications and sizes appeared. Galaxy Watch4 can equip with Bluetooth or LTE; it has a length of 40 or 44 millimetres. Now, the display and aluminium rim of the watch case has an almost entirely flat and smooth surface. The highlight here: the edge serves as a “digital faceplate” with which you can execute control commands at the touch of a finger. But the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic (with Bluetooth or LTE, size 42 or 46 millimetres) has a physical control panel and a steel case.
A 4mm Galaxy Watch44 with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS, with a rubber strap, came to me for review. It is available at a recommended price of UAH 7 or $999, although no one has cancelled the New Year and Christmas discounts, so you can find it even for UAH 295 or around $6. If you are interested in the LTE version, you must pay UAH 836 or nearly $250. But there is also the opportunity to buy the Galaxy Watch8 599 mm, for which Ukrainian stores ask UAH 320 or $4 for the Wi-Fi version and UAH 40 or $6999 for the LTE version. Of course, holiday discounts and promotions will help you save a little on your purchase, so hurry up and buy this great watch.

Simple Setup
The contents of the package will probably not surprise anyone. Samsung Company has packaged its watch in a beautiful elongated box, in which the user will find only the necessary accessories.
Sleek Design Without Rotating Frame
As I mentioned in the introduction, the Galaxy Watch4 is a successor to the Watch Active2; there is no mechanical rotating bezel (but you can use the digital version). This characteristic detail is only available in the Classic version, whose body will make of stainless steel. And the base model of the Galaxy Watch4 has an aluminium case. The sandblasted aluminium looks elegant and also makes the watch lighter.
The Excellent Build Quality Of Galaxy Watch4
A 20mm wide silicone strap comes with each variant. I had to match the colour of the box, dark green. The bracelet is friendly and smooth, does not irritate the skin, and has hypoallergenic properties. The buckle will make of aluminium, and the excess of the tip is passed through a unique trench coat so that it doesn’t get caught during movement or in gym classes. You will especially need it in the gym, I assure you. The strap measures M/L.
Display With Automatic Brightness Adjustment
The Galaxy Watch 4 has a perfectly round touchscreen measuring 1.36 inches or 1.19 inches for the 40mm version. The panel is Super AMOLED, which guarantees absolute black colour and excellent display characteristics. In addition, the display offers brilliant colours, perfect viewing angles and excellent readability even in bright sunlight.
