This review of OPPO  Find the X5 Pro. I’ll start at the end. Except for the ergonomics, which I’m not used to, this device is incredible in every physical aspect, including iron. But at the shell level, I have an absolute swing with it, from perfect, what’s needed, to “what the heck isn’t?”.

I’ll start with the good because there’s a lot of it. It is the flagship. And the flagship is relevant. And despite the shell, it looks and feels hyper-elite in the hands.

The screen is just a bomb—120 Hz, AMOLED, bright and juicy. I don’t specifically give the features; you don’t need an exact resolution. However, I will say that it is not a Full HD panel, but the diagonal here is 6.7 inches. Yes, that’s 6.7 inches of heavenly beauty, but 6.7 inches.

Power And Cooling

The system on a chip here is the Snap 8 Gen1. It’s not a plus, just Gen1. And don’t worry about speed; he flies like a beast with pitchforks at the fifth point. The chipset is the flagship, so don’t expect games to slow down. If it’s important to you, it’s not that important to me.

An evaporation chamber cools the thing with graphene pads for heat transfer. And outside of stress tests, in real situations, it is tough to overheat the smartphone, even in games at room temperature.

But, let’s say, the first configuration, with the installation of all the programs, the smartphone will noticeably heat up, don’t doubt it.

Cameras

On cameras – I will say this. The quality is symbolic; the primary and wide-angle modules are the same, 50 megapixels of pure Sony beauty. Your quality is just a piece of candy. Also, Hasselblad did an excellent job with the company. The Colour calibration looks lovely and natural.

Here I will express my expectations, which are my problems. But I expected hardware cooperation. So how did they do it? Xiaomi with Leica, or Nokia with Zeiss, because the latter provided optics for camera modules, which greatly improved image quality and reduced the number of artefacts.

I can’t wait for Hasselblad to do the same, but for now, we only have software optimization and, as I understand it, very high quality.

What is wrong with me? Telephoto module. It uses another sensor, which is a little worse than the main one.

At the same time, the idea of ​​a double telephoto is amusing; I’m all for it because the double zoom is much more helpful for portrait shots.

Generally, any approximation other than the default will be helpful to you because the default module will consider wide-angle, which is pretty useless for portraits. That’s right, for general development.

Resistance

Further, the battery is 5,000 milliamps hours, with support for wired and wireless charging at 90 and 60 W, respectively. It is proprietary charging, SuperVOOC, but many devices that provide 100 watts per Type-C charge the smartphone quickly.

And the autonomy itself is at least three times better than Google Pixel 3 XL. Because the chipset is more economical and the capacity is more significant. The situation is worse with the blur war, but it’s all on a separate screen, so it’s annoying but not terrible.

From memory. 256 GB permanent, 12 GB RAM expandable, sorry, up to 19! Due to permanent memory, of course. There is no microSD support, but the smartphone pulls two SIM cards. And I say now because I forgot before – IP68 protection is in effect.

And the nuances begin with memory. Versions of OPPO Find X5 Pro have 5. Three of them have 12 RAM and 256 RAM. These are International, Chinese and Chinese versions of MediaTek Density. Don’t laugh; MediaTek now makes good silicon, especially the flagship. Two more performances are also Chinese, with 8 gigabytes of RAM and 12 gigabytes of RAM plus 512 permanent…

You have to work hard to find the international version. You must be fortunate. I was unlucky. He is Chinese. And here the problems begin. It’s not my smartphone – mine. I understand that this smartphone is unsuitable for our market; it is a Chinese version.

Results by OPPO Find the X5 Pro

They are as follows. OPPO Find the X5 Pro – this is a fantastic job precisely on the iPhone. It’s a slap in the face; it’s a smartphone with a unique touch, style, aesthetics, art behind and beauty in front.

But like the iPhone, this device commands. He has his way; either you do what he says or don’t do what you need to do. You cannot change the password input keyboard. You will have to trust a Chinese company that leaves you with no choice. Which, of course, gives a lot of confidence.

So. somewhere, I heard that OPPO is a brand for visual enjoyment. And for manufacturing, there is Vivo and OnePlus. And I agree. OPPO Find the X5 Pro – this is for situations where you need to impress the owners of the most expensive iPhones, and you will do so without any problems. However, this is not your choice if you are a power user. For 15 dollars, as it will sale here, it is easy to find a much better analogue… Anyway, according to the stuffing inside. But not out.
